ROLES OF STATE/DISTRICT/BLOCKS ESTIBLISHMENTS.
1. STATE LEVEL- The Director, Rural Development:
(i) General Administration (ii) Preparation of all allocation of funds (iii) Frame policy and plan annual activity (iv) Co-ordinate with respective DRDAs, Blocks and the GoI for general matters and fund release..2. DISTRICT LEVEL- (a) THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER ODF DRDAS & CHAIRMAN OF VDBS:-
(i) Control, administer and review all developmental activities. (ii) Approves/ Review schemes selected by the VDBs through the DP & DB (District Planning Development Board), (iii) Control the actual fund release to the VDBs and (iv) Monitors the implementation of schemes by the VDBs.(b) THE PROJECT DIRECTOR:
(i) Submits all proposal , reports & returns. (ii) Submits the shelf of VDB selected schemes. (iii) Maintain beneficiaries list and records and (iv) Co-ordinates with the Directorate and the blocks on all implementation process.3. BLOCK LEVEL :
The BDO, through personal contact and direct involvement ensures: (i) Proper progress, co-ordination and monitoring activities of the VDB (ii) Selection of priority based, needful schemes by the VDB, (iii) The actual ground implementation of all schemes and issue completion Certificiate after personal verification and submit the same to the Chairman for fund release.
