The Government administrative set up of the Deptt. of Rural Development has a State level Directorate. At the District Level, a DRDA ( District Rural Development Agency) Office exist in all the 11 District of the State for administration, implementation and monitoring of all Rural Development activities. The DRDA and has a Project Director for the administration of the DRDA and control of the Blocks within the District. - General Administration & Direction - Preparation of all allocation of funds, - Frame policy and plan annual activity, - Co- ordinate with DRDAs, Blocks and GoI for general matters and fund releaseCEO DRDA & CHAIRMAN VDBs
Control, administer and review of DRDA VDB activities. Approves/ Review VDB Schemes through The DP& DB ( District Planning & Development Boards), Control/Release VDBs Funds. Reports and Returns, Monitor Schematic implementation of the VDBs.PROJECT DIRECTOR DRDA
Administrative control of Blocks submit shelf of VDB scheme to DP & DB Recommend payment Release to VDB Proposal Maintain Records.BLOCK DEVELOPMENT OFFICER.
-Monitor fund utilization and progress of VDB activities -Ensure selection of priority based Scheme -Ensure ground implantation of Scheme, issue Completion Certificate & Recommend payment.VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT BOARDS.
- Identify & select priority Based schemes through General Body Meeting - Ensures Ground Implementation of Programmes - Ensures Community Participation - Ensures Transparency & proper fund utilization - Maintain Account, Muster Roll & Beneficiaries Records.
